Nowadays, mini hydropower stations are becoming popular energy source whereever there is water flowing. Mongolian government is feverish on that and encouraging this idea. there are few concerns I have are 1) who the experts are going to be, 2) it is really boosting nation's economics, and 3) how the environmental issues are being taken care of.As a developing country, everything new built seems exciting, yet how long this excitement last is questionable. We must have environmental experts in our government to develop the country sustainably. In my experience of GWU Environmental program is that Energy and Environmental issues can not be distinguished in a sense of sustainable development. Thus, my proposal today is under government's environmental rule how finance driven-energy sector can grow. Looking at new Law on Renewable Energy, this law is missing some important points which I mentioned above.
